Australia Day Celebrations at Werris Creek are a popular Community Event provided by Liverpool Plains Shire Council and hosted by the Lions Club of Werris Creek. The day includes Aa complimentary BBQ courtesy of the Lions Club, live entertainment, markets, family games, speeches by the Australia Day Ambassador and Liverpool Plains Shire Councilor. This event is concluded with a magnificent fireworks display. It is an event that the community as a whole loves and supports every year.
