The community event will be located in the Elliston Parklands with a focus on 'Reflect. Respect. Celebrate. We're all part of the story'. The event will begin with a welcome speech by our mayor including Acknowledgement of Country and presentation to the award recipients. The National Anthem will be played. Once the formalities are over, the market stalls and local food vendors will begin to trade. A free barbecue, soft drink and water will be on offer. Live music will be played. Shade, tables and chairs will be available, but it will also be encouraged that families and friends bring their own blankets. Activities and games will be organised for the children. Roads will be closed off to ensure patron safety and disabled parking and toilets will be in close vicinity. The event will be captured with photos taken by a professional photographer.
