Australia Day Celebrations at Werris Creek are a popular community event provided by Liverpool Plains Shire Council and hosted by the Lions Club of Werris Creek. The day includes a complimentary bbq courtesy of the lions club, live entertainment, markets, family games, speeches by the Australia Day Ambassador and Liverpool Plains Shire Councillor. This event is concluded with a magnificent fireworks display. It is an event that the community as a whole loves and supports every year.
