New Beginnings: Celebrating Australia is a special Australia Day dinner in Canberra bringing together new migrants, refugees, First Nations Elders, youth and community members for an evening of culture, connection and celebration. Guests will enjoy a Smoking Ceremony, Welcome to Country, storytelling, panel discussions, music and shared food, all designed to foster belonging, respect and intercultural understanding. The event will also include the symbolic distribution of native seed packs to represent growth, renewal and connection with Country.
