Sally Wise

Sally Wise is the bestselling author of 12 cook books, including A Year in a Bottle and Slow Cooker. She has also published three other books, two of which have a multicultural focus.
She is a regular guest on ABC Local Radio in Tasmania for a Jams and Preserves talkback segment. She has been a presenter at events such as the Melbourne Food and Wine festival, Gardening Australia Expos, Open Gardens Australia and many community functions. She was also Chief Judge at the Tasmanian Fine Food Awards in 2014.
Sally is a mother of six and loves to share the cooking experience with children and adults of all ages. Sally has also opened her own cooking school in Tasmania – the Sally Wise Cooking School at Molesworth in the Derwent Valley.
Sally is passionate about seasonal produce and creating exciting flavours in additive-free food from natural, readily available ingredients. Sally has also written articles for various
publications and magazines including the Organic Gardener.
