Australia Day is a day to get together with friends, family and other Australians and celebrate what's great about this wonderful Country.

Australia Day is the most widely celebrated day throughout this Country. Many people have a BBQ at home, or meet friends at the beach or listen to the Triple J Hottest 100 on the radio. The Australia Day Council of South Australia hosts some of the major events in recognition of Australia Day. These include Australia Day in the City (featuring the Australia Day Parade and Concert), the Australia Day Luncheon (proudly sponsored by Australia Post) and the Australia Day Awards (proudly sponsored by San Remo).
