Working Australians were encouraged to share the celebration of our national day with their work colleagues on Wednesday 25th January. Businesses can hold Australia Day morning teas, BBQ lunches or simply decorate their offices and workplaces to an Australia Day theme.
Registration is FREE and gives you access to our toolkit with info and support materials and automatic entry to our competitions! We also offer party packs of Aussie merchandise to help you decorate your workplace.
Australia Day in the Office is a great way to increase staff morale and promote togetherness as a workplace whilst reflecting on our National Day.
In 2011 we had 65 businesses & organisations in South Australia register for this new program. In 2012 we are expanding the program right across the Country with more prizes and free promotional merchdise backs for earlybird registrations (registration is free!).
Our SA prize winner in 2011 was BINSA - Brain Injury Network of South Australia. We joined them for their Australia Day in the Office party and supplied delicious lunch thanks to Queen of Hearts Catering. Award winning caberet singer Nikki Aitken joined the fun by singing 'Advance Australia Fair' and 'I Still Call Australia Home' live for the attendees.
