Singing superstars Ricki-Lee and Stan Walker will headline this year’s free Australia Day in the City Concert in Elder Park on Thursday 26th January.
Over 30,000 South Australians are expected to enjoy the festivities, which will begin with the Australia Day Parade from Hindmarsh Square at 6pm.
The parade is one of the largest of its kind in the country and will include over 3,000 participants, a number of exciting floats, 100 vintage vehicles, 30 horses, 15 marching bands, a giant echidna and a fly-past by an F-18 Hornet.
After making its way through city streets, the procession will converge on Elder Park at 7pm for the twilight Australia Day Concert.

“Adelaide City Council loves playing host to the State’s major celebration of Australia Day,” Acting Lord Mayor David Plumridge said.
“The parade and concert in Elder Park will be an excellent event for all South Australians to celebrate our day of Australian Pride.”
The concert will acknowledge Indigenous Australians with a traditional Kaurna welcome by Jack Buckskin, 2011 Finalist for Young Australian of the Year and a traditional dance performance by KUMA KARRO.
The headline acts will then have everyone on their feet, dancing the night away. Pop princess Ricki- Lee has recently released her new hit-single, Raining Diamonds, while Stan Walker has just launched his 3rd album, ‘Let the Music Play,’ featuring singles Light It Up and Loud.
"It's been a while since I’ve performed in Adelaide and can't wait to get there on Australia Day, they have always been so supportive of me and I can't wait to put on a big show for them,” said Ricki-Lee.
The festivities will end with a bang shortly before 10pm with a spectacular fireworks finale sponsored by the Commonwealth Bank.
“It’s a fantastic line-up, so get your friends and family together and head down to Elder Park for a fun night of free, family friendly entertainment,” said Matthew Miles, Executive Officer of the Australia Day Council.
Australia Day in the City is presented by the Adelaide City Council and the Australia Day Council of South Australia.
