Be part of the official Flag Raising ceremony as His Excellency, the Honourable Alex Chernov, AC,QC Governor of Victoria, leads the Australia Day Affirmation and officiates as the National Flag is raised. The Flag Raising ceremony takes place in front of the Melbourne Town Hall and includes the Royal Australian Navy Band Detachment and a Full Royal Guard consisting of 104 personnel from the three Defence services.
