The Official Australia Day Cocktail Party is hosted by the Premier and proudly supported by Australia Post.

This annual celebration is a prestigeous invitation-only event providing a diverse segment of our community from corporate to community organisations an opportunity to network whilst celebrating our nation - our people, places and achievements.

Australia Day is an important time to look proudly on our achievements and more importantly celebrate the prospects of our bright future.

Guests will welcome in Australia Day as they sip on cocktails and mingle in style at Hobart's premier waterfront venue.

Also launched at the event are the Australia Post Australian Legends  The Legends are living Australians who have made a unique contribution to our way of life, inspired our community and influenced the way Australians think about themselves and their country.  The Legends are immortalised on a set of collectable stamps.
