Held on the banks of the Inglis River in Richard Gutteridge Gardens, Wynyard, residents and visitors welcome Australia Day in with a traditional breakfast BBQ.Awards, Citizenship ceremonies and our Ambassador talk make up the formal but important part of the morning. Live music , family and children's activities the rest - but there's time to catch up with friends and neighbours over a fruit pancake or fresh coffee. The event is hosted by the Waratah-Wynyard Council and supported by the Lions Club of Wynyard who make the delicious egg 'n bacon rolls fresh off the barby.
