Australia Day in the City is SA's major Australia Day celebration in the heart of Adelaide. Join more than 30,000 people celebrating with our Parade / Concert & Fireworks!
PARADE, CONCERT & FIREWORKS!
The event kicks off with the country's largest Australia Day Parade - more than 4000 people walked through the streets of Adelaide in 2012 and we expect a similar number again. The Parade participants a huge number of cultural and community groups plus floats, roving performers, 100 vintage vehicles, 30 horses, 15 marching bands, a giant echidna and a fly-past by an F-18 Hornet! After making its way through city streets, the procession will converge on Elder Park at 7pm for the twilight Australia Day Concert. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:45pm
