On Saturday 26 January, bring the family down to Laidley Pioneer Village for the Australia Day celebrations.
Bush Poets Breakfast starts at 7am with Poet Kevin Dean. The Awrads Ceremony commences at 9.30am followed by entertainment on the main stage, a kids zone with games, animal farm, face painting and more.
Have a go at the Thong Throwing comp or the lamington eating challenge! Enjoy music from local artists as well as Golden Guitar winner Norma O'Hara Murphy, didgeridoo player Matthew Middleton and The Kelly Gang.
The Lockyer Light Horse Troop will be there along with market stalls, food and drinks, whip cracking workshops, Ned Kelly, bushrangers and much more.
Remember to bring a hat, sunscreen and a fold up chair. Let’s bring the region together to celebrate!
