With over 4,500 sausages, 40 kilograms of onions, 225 loaves of bread and 4,000 pieces of fruit, the Great Aussie Day Breakfast is the best way to start your Australia Day!

Proudly presented by ActewAGL and the Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets, the Great Aussie Day Breakfast will kick-start Canberra’s celebrations this Australia Day from 7.30am in the new location of Rond Terrace to complement the Australia Day in the Park activities.

The ACT Australia Day Ambassador, Mr Bryce Courtenay will also be attending the morning breakfast, along with some of our local sporting talents!

The breakfast is free, however gold-coin donations are encouraged and will go to Camp Quality.

Where can I park?

• Acton Park car park, off Commonwealth Avenue. Cross Commonwealth Avenue at the traffic lights.
• Civic Pool car park, Civic.
• CIT car park, Reid
• Disabled parking will be available in the car park adjacent to Regatta Point

Shuttle bus/train

• A shuttle bus will be available from Regatta Point and additional bus stops will be available from Civic Pool and CIT car parks from 6:30am–12:00pm
• A shuttle trackless train will be available from Citizenship Place at Regatta Point to Rond Terrace from 7:00am–12:00pm

Will there be road or car park closures?

• Rond Terrace car park will be closed on Thursday 26 January 2012 from 5.30am till 1.00pm.

What are the areas affected by the cannons exclusion zone?

• The exclusion zones will take effect before and during the event to ensure public safety.

The area affected by the cannons exclusion zone will be pedestrian walkway directly in front of the National Capital Exhibition from 8.00am until 11.00am.
