AUSTRALIA DAY FIREWORKS 2012

Central Basin, Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra.

In the early evening, the shores of Lake Burley Griffin will come alive with a spectacular fireworks display to an australian soundtrack and offer a perfect finale to our national day celebrations.

From 7pm, enjoy the pre-fireworks entertainment on Central Basin with the annual 'Bridge to Bridge' rowing race and dragon boating race before the fireworks kick off from 9pm.

Bring your picnic rug, grab a bite to eat, and be swept up by the explosion of colour and movement with your family and friends- the only place to be to end what is going to be a fantastic day in our Capital!
