Rond Terrace – morning activities
Where can I park?
- Acton Park car park, off Commonwealth Avenue. Cross Commonwealth Avenue at the traffic lights.
- Civic Pool car park, Civic.
- CIT car park, Reid
- Disabled parking will be available in the car park adjacent to Regatta Point
- Shuttle bus/train
A shuttle bus will be available from Regatta Point and additional bus stops will be available from Civic Pool and CIT car parks from 6:30am–12:00pm
A shuttle trackless train will be available from Citizenship Place at Regatta Point to Rond Terrace from 7:00am–12:00pm

Will there be road or car park closures?
Rond Terrace car park will be closed on Thursday 26 January 2012 from 5.30am till 1.00pm.
What are the areas affected by the cannons exclusion zone?
The exclusion zones will take effect before and during the event to ensure public safety.
The area affected by the cannons exclusion zone will be pedestrian walkway directly in front of the National Capital Exhibition from 8.00am until 11.00am.

Food and drink
A variety of food and drink options will be available for purchase on Australia Day
The Australia Day celebrations at Rond Terrace, Commonwealth Park and near Central Basin are for all ages and only non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase onsite
Patrons are discouraged from bringing and consuming alcohol at the event.

Can I catch a bus?
ACTION Buses will be running on their public holiday timetable
Extra buses will operate after the fireworks, travelling from Commonwealth Avenue to all major interchanges from 9.30pm
