Paul is an accomplished senior executive with a wide range of experience in both Australia and Asia Pacific. Paul is currently the Chairman of the Queen Victoria Market Board, the world class Melbourne icon, and Managing Director, Asia Pacific, of Optum International, which is one of the world’s leading provider of health services.
With previous leadership roles in multinational giants, Motorola and Vodafone, Paul has made a career of leading and growing both people and companies through his leadership style of setting a corporate vision, mentoring people and building performance based cultures. A proud Victorian, Paul was schooled in Melbourne and has an honours Engineering Degree and a post graduate in Management from Swinburne University.
Paul also serves on the Board of Red Dust Role Models which connects well known Australians with indigenous youth, and has previously been a director of Variety Club Victoria, and the Million Dollar Lunch.
A keen sport enthusiast, Paul is a member of the Metropolitan Golf Club, the AFL, and enjoys skiing both the snow covered slopes of the Victorian snow fields, and the magnificent Murray River come summer. Having travelled extensively throughout the world, Paul now lives in Melbourne with his wife Amelia, and their 3 children Daniela, Matthew and Stephen.
