Clair Marsh OAM

Clair Marsh has been married to David, anther of the Australia Day Ambassadors, since 1981. She used to work in Public Relations, but now works extensively with Variety – The Children’s Charity – having spent 18 years as a board member. She is one of only two life members of Variety, and was, with David, Victorian of the Year in 2003. She now works extensively with the Marsh Foundation, and was awarded the OAM in 2003 for services to the victims of the Bali Bombings of October 2002.
Clair is on the Board of The Marsh Foundation Limited which recycles unwanted but serviceable medical equipment to send to Indonesia and beyond. She and her husband have sponsored an orphanage in central Bali which cares for handicapped children for more than 14 years.
