Sarah Garnett
Sarah Garnett is the Founder of The Benjamin Andrew Footpath Library. One night in 2003, Sarah noticed a homeless man sitting in the gutter reading a novel under a streetlight. She started a conversation with him and it was there The Footpath Library was born.
The Benjamin Andrew Footpath Library gives away around 2500 free books a month to homeless and disadvantaged people in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. There is no other library like it anywhere in the world.
